Clearing Spectus Storage and Site Data

This guide will help walk you through how to reset your Spectus User Interface. The following instructions provide steps for both Firefox and Google Chrome.

Firefox

  1. Open Firefox
  2. In the address bar, enter: about:preferences#privacy
  3. Alternatively, you can access this by selecting the menu option from the top-right corner
  4. Go to Preferences -> Privacy & Security
  5. Navigate to Cookies and Site Data
  6. Select Manage Data
  7. Search for Spectus in the prompt field. Select Remove All Shown. Save Changes
  8. Refresh Spectus. Log in and you should now have access to all reports and functions within the dashboard.

Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Browse to the Spectus login page
  3. Right-click on the page and select Inspect
  4. In developer tools, select Application from the top header options. If the option is not there within the header, select the arrow on the right side of the header, and select Application from the menu
  5. Select Storage from the Application list, and then select the Clear site data option
  6. Refresh Spectus and log in again.

If after clearing your site data the problem persists, please attempt to access through an incognito session of your browser, and reach out to your Spectus representative to inform them of the access issue.
